Unique barn complex with sea views given a new lease of life
Detailed planning consent was achieved for the demolition of two large modern agricultural sheds and the conversion of two original stone fronted barns into three residential dwellings with associated parking and landscaping.
The demolition of the modern outbuildings restores the farm to its historic layout and enables the original barns to be seen once more.
Our scheme is unique, retaining original features where possible and using traditional construction methods. Wood pellet boilers combined with solar panels will provide heating and hot water.
The proposal will improve the local vernacular, by strengthening and enhancing it. Maintaining these previously redundant buildings provides a fantastic opportunity to bring the farm’s architectural and historical values back to their former glory.
