Extension & Alterations to existing cottage, St Gluvias

Atelier 3 Ltd have been appointed during the spring of 2008 to prepare a scheme to extend and alter the clients existing home.
The brief concentrated on exploring the client’s passion for the countryside by rationalising the existing accommodation whilst providing contemporary and flexible living for their growing family and extended family of animals.
It was important for the client that the scheme did not overshadow the traditional Cornish cottage but complemented and engaged with its existing character.
