Contemporary two storey Extension to property, Rock

We were appointed by a private client to modernise and extend their current holiday home in Rock so that it could be used as a permanent home.

The appearance of the existing dwelling is typical of the North Cornwall coast and has the living accommodation at the first floor; unfortunately this configuration has meant that there is no interaction with the garden. Our proposal is unique, retaining original features whilst using traditional construction methods allowing for a flexible living area to be used by our client to interact with the garden.

The proposal is sympathetic to the surrounding properties and complements the existing in a manner that is contemporary with careful detailing and proportions.
