Bakery and Cafe, Pentewen Road, St Austell

We were appointed by an established family run bakery to create a bespoke high quality bakery retail shop and café outlet unit in an established out of town retail location in St Austell.

The site is situated adjacent to the site of a historical cattle market and commercial area and is one of the last remaining buildings in this area to be replaced with modern retail building. The development will comprise of a single storey steel framed building with insulated steel cladding to the sides and rear elevation and glazed panels within the front elevations returning to the sides. The design and materials have been chosen to reflect that of the local vicinity and will provide its own dedicated parking and turning space for customers.

The project has achieved full planning and works are due to commence on site summer 2018.
